Introducing my2cents Multicultural Film Series: 2009 - 2010

The GSASS Diversity Committee, in an effort to encourage awareness and dialogue regarding issues of power, privilege and oppression, is sponsoring the my2cents Multicultural film series. This effort was spearheaded by Counseling Psychology student representatives to the committee.

  2. A much needed effort. Thank you.

    Also, let's aim to have a film/panel about the genocide and struggle of the indigneous population with the promotion of the petition to replace the Columbus Day holiday with something like Indigenous People's Day. We need to be very critical of honoring racist murderous figures historically and currently.

  7. thanks so much for these films. THey fir in perfectly with our class on 'Privilege, Power and Oppression' where we are reading bell hooks 'Where we stand: class matters' and 'White Privilege' by Rothenberg.
